
Project Description
Grupotech Solar UK 4 Ltd have submitted an application to the Scottish Government Energy Consents Unit (ECU) in February 2025, under Section 36 of the Electricity Act 1989 seeking consent to construct and operate a solar farm and battery energy storage system on land adjoining the A823, opposite the Knockhill Motor Racing Circuit. The project reference is ECU00006007 and all documents relating to the planning submission can be viewed on the ECU website: Scottish Government - Energy Consents Unit
